The first phase of the JICA project, in cooperation with Japan since 1990, has begun in five villages in the Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Bazoft area, with the aim of preserving and restoring forests and pastures, helping livelihoods and raising the income of foresters, and with a 1.5 year extension, this plan was successfully completed last year.
